Assignment #15 Never Back Down (5 out of 10)

The movie never back down in my opinion is almost a duplicate of the classic movie the karate kid. This movie has good and bad qualities about it. I feel that this movie was some what cheesy and tried a little to hard. I personally don't agree with fighting as a sport so maybe that's why i didn't enjoy the movie. However this movie does have good morals and values add to it to make it better. The movie teaches you that you should work hard for the things that you want and to never back down. I didn't like the fact that the bad guy always seemed to get what he wanted until the end of course. It seemed that no matter what happened the bad guy always seemed to end up on top which made me dislike the movie. I also didn't like the fact of all the high school drama in the movie. I feel that this movie was for a more immature audience and wasn't for me.

I would give this movie a 5 out of 10. It seemed a little cliche and over done. I feel as though they were trying to recreate the karate kid too much and didn't do the best job. I would suggest this movie to high school kids. Although I'm a high school student myself i didn't find this movie very tasteful.

Assignment # 13 Iron Man vs. Dark Knight

When comparing the two movies Iron Man and the Dark Knight I thought the Dark Knights story line was much better. The Dark Knight i feel was better because of the way it made you feel like you were on the edge of your seat the whole time. It was non stop action and thrill that captured you. In Iron man however i felt it was a bit slower and not as intriguing as the Dark Knight. I also feel that the Joker in the Dark Knight gave the movie an evil yet interesting vibe to the movie that made you want to keep watching him. I also think i enjoyed the Dark Knight more because I've never heard of iron man before seeing the movie so i had more of a connection with the Dark Knight. I also think that the Dark Knight had more of a theme to it then iron man did. The Dark Knight tried to show us that sometimes showing everyone that being the hero isn't important, as long as you know what your doing is right then that's all that should matter while Iron man didn't send me as strong of a message about the good of the quality of there characters.

Assignment # 12 Iron Man (6 out of 10)

Iron man is another story based off of a comic book series. This particular movie in my opinion is pretty well done. The graphics of this movie are extremely well done. Before seeing this movie i had never seen or heard about any of the other iron man stories. The main things i liked about this movie is the fact that the super hero is an every day man that builds his iron suit himself. Not only does it take extreme smarts to do this but he also has the strength and dedication to play the role of the iron man. This film will undoubtedly give you your daily thrill of action and adventure. I also enjoyed this movie for its comedy its not just all action and adventure it also has some comedic relief in it which makes you laugh.

I would recommend this movie to mostly male audiences. Although i liked this movie and appreciate what it had to offer i wouldn't suggest this movie to most women. It could be boring for some and they may not enjoy this type of movie as some male comic book lovers would. I wouldn't suggest this movie to a young audience as well because of the violence and language it uses. This movie is more prone to adults.

Assignment # 11 The Dark Knight (9 out of 10)

The Dark Knight is one of the many versions of the comic book Batman. Over the years there has been many different perceptions and ways we've seen Batman. The Dark Knight does the best of showing how i feel Batman should be portrayed. In this movie batman doesn't always come out the hero. he takes risks and does the things that Gotham city needs. I also like this Batman movie more then the rest because it really gets you inside the mind of the characters.

I would recommend this movie to many different audiences. Although some people might not be interested in comic book movies, this movie is also filled with action and suspense witch makes it intriguing to all.  Although Batman is usually suggest for kids this movie shouldn't been seen by kids under the age of 10 for its strong violence. This version of Batman is more suitable for the adult fans.

Assignment # 8 Curious Case Of Ben. Button (8 out of 10)

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button was a very unique and well-put together movie. This movie in many ways has very many unique qualities about it. This movie was made on the ideas of transforming age and time and making things completely new. I enjoyed this movie because of your curiosity to the events that will take place. You never know what’s going to happen to Ben, which keeps you intrigued and keeps you wanting to watch more. I also like the setting and filming qualities of this movie. I feel that the setting and the time that the movie was set in gave the movie a lot of character and uniqueness. This movie also caught my eye because of its dramatic love story attached to it. Who would ever love an old man? Benjamin has to go through a majority of his life in the complete opposite way of other people and to me that shows a lot of bravery, which is why I admire this movie. Not only is this movie an adventure it’s a beautiful love story as well.

I feel this movie is suitable for older more mature people. Although I feel all can enjoy it, younger people may not appreciate it in the same way. On the negative side this movie doesn't have the happiest of endings another reason why I would suggest this movie to a more mature audience. Other than that all should enjoy this curious story!

Assignment # 7 Rocky 3 (8 out of 10)

In many ways the Rocky movies are classics. When ever you hear the name Rocky Balboa automatically you think of the ultimate boxing super hero. I love these series of movies for the strong impact and inspiration it gave many people to get involved with the sport. This movie gives kids, teens, and adults inspiration to achieve goals, and shows that even the impossible can be achieved if you work hard enough to get what you want. I like that this movie can be enjoyed by both men and women. Although boxing as a sport is mainly enjoyed by men, this movie makes all ages and genders enjoy and appreciate the sport more. My favorite part of this movie is when Rocky takes on the challange of fighting someone he isn't sure he can defeat. I also like that whenever people hear the theme song from the movie they relate it to working and doing something they want to achieve.

I would suggest this movie to anyone who likes positive movies. You know the rocky movies are always going to end happily and thats why i enjoyed this movie. I would give this movie an 8 out of 10. This was the first of the rocky movies i have seen and hope to see more soon!
